Dharuhera Master Plan

Dharuhera is the fastest-growing census town in Haryana, India, and is located at the intersection of National Highway No. 8 and the Palwal-Sohna-Rewari route, about 72 kilometers from Delhi. Dharuhera is part of the Delhi NCR area and has quickly grown into an industrial center.

An effective transportation system and road network are required for the seamless operation of industrial and commercial operations, which are the town’s principal purposes.

As a result, a 251-hectare area has been offered for this purpose. On key routes, care has been made to reduce the number of punctures. The National Highway No. 8 and the Palwal-Sohna-Rewari highways are intended to be connected by semi-circular roads of 75 meters, 60 meters, and 45 meters.

Environmental Belts and Open areas:

The town is expected to be constructed with a residential density of 300 people per hectare. To preserve a pollution-free atmosphere, appropriate green spaces must be provided. The town’s industrial character has also prompted the need for enough open areas.

In the development plan, an area of around 165 hectares has been set aside for this purpose, which includes the area under the Tourist Residential property in gurgaon Complex and accounts for about 8.68 per cent of the total urbanized area.

Utilities for the public:

Because the town’s primary activities will be industrial, commercial, and other services, it will require an uninterrupted power supply, a stable and appropriate water supply system, and efficient sewage and stormwater disposal system. With these criteria in mind, a 37-hectare area has been set aside for public utilities.

In the agriculture zone, a suitable location for a sewage disposal treatment plant and a solid waste disposal facility has been provided on the village link road between National Highway No. 8 and Ghatal Mahniawas on the south of the proposed Rewari-Palwal railway.
