The width of the Gurgaon-Sohna-Alwar road, the Rewari-Sohna-Palwal (NH-71) road, and the Sohna-Ballabgarh Road has been planned to be increased to 60 meters, with a 50-meter wide green belt on both sides.

On both the eastern and western sides, the Aravalli Ranges surround Sohna Town. Run-off from these ranges runs through projected urbanization via Barsanti Nallahs, particularly Mehandwara Nadi, during the rainy season. On the western side of town, three bundhs, named Sohna bundh, Mohmmadpur bundh, and Ghamroj bundh, exist to control run-off and recharge the subsurface water table.

The Irrigation Department requested that the three existing bundhs and the orientation of the tributaries of the Mehandwara Nadi / Nallah be preserved in the Sohna Master Plan 2031.
